Transhumanism
Summary
Philosophical and intellectual movement that advocates for the use of technologies (genetic, nanotechnology, AI, cryogenics) to improve the human condition beyond its natural biological limitations. An ambiguous heir to classical eugenics due to its fundamental objective (improving human biology) but distinguished by its individualistic and voluntary framework.
Detailed description
Transhumanism is an intellectual movement that asserts that the human condition can and should be improved through technology. Its adherents advocate for the elimination of aging, the enhancement of cognitive abilities, genetic modification, and ultimately the human-machine fusion or the uploading of consciousness. Structurally identical to ancient Gnosticism according to THEORY-0701: the body and death are ‘bugs’ to be corrected, the material world is deficient, and technology is the path to transcendence. Within the context of the Epstein network, transhumanism served as an ideological framework for the funding of genetic research (Harvard, MIT) and as a vector for recruiting scientists.
Belief pillars
Founders
- • Julian Huxley (terme 'transhumanisme', 1957)
- • FM-2030 (Fereidoun M. Esfandiary)
- • Max More (fondateur Extropian Institute, 1988)
- • Natasha Vita-More

Evolution
